Can you give me some more clues as to what to search under, apart from Bibles? Family History and Genealogy leads to so much dross! I have tried marriage certificate etc without much luck. Thanks |

Evening All Some new additions to e-bay..... 1. This bible was owned by the BLANDFORD family and the first pages are filled with the family history from births, marriages and deaths of family members from the early 1860's to the 1920's. 2.The first document is an application to Queen Victoria's High Court registering the fact that 'The late FRANCES DAVEY of SAINT COLUMB in the County of CORNWALL - INNKEEPER - DIED ON 8TH DECEMBER 1879'. The second item is a Memorandum Book being an Inventory of the NEW INN SAINT COLUMB for the year 1880. This is twenty pages long. 3.OLD FRAMED MILITARY PHOTOGRAPH WITH DEMOB CERTIFICATES with demob a/c ,cert of demob,cert of identity and more for 830632 GUNNER BERNARD DOUGLAS HAMMOND 1919. 4. First World War soldiers discharge certificate No.512070 SAPPER J. HILL. ROYAL ENGINEERS Served with honour and was disabled in the Great War.Honourably discharged on 31st Dec. 1918.
