I have just come across a site that lists all occupations with an explantion of what they were: gendocs.demon(.)co(.)uk/trades(.)html Hope it is of use to someone Karen

One of my relations was an 'Ear Mugger'. Haven't got a clue what that is. Will have a look see if it's on there....bet it isn't. Dawn

Sagger makers bottom knocker could be related to ear mugger. Rupert Bear.
