hello Susan... I asked same thing not so long ago and this was one of the replys I got which I found useful... ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Go to www.familysearch and download their free family search software. Export your tree from GC as a gedcom Import it to your new program Edit it there Export it as a Gedcom in Ansel format Import the corrected file to GC ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ and this one... Gerri, It is not possible to print your tree from this site, you need a programme to do it if you go to the website www.familysearch.org/ click order download products click software downloads free Click 77065999 at the top make sure you tick English and just follow instructions you can print out from there, just add your information like you do on here. Sue.......it is free to download Good luck Gerri x

A gedcom file is a format specifically for family history files. If you use any family history software, it should have a facility for saving in gedcom format.
