I'm looking for my grandmother's family and there must still be someone related i have an address to where my grandmother was born in 1906 should i try and contact there or what?? please help.

That's nearly 100 years Amy. Is there the same surname, born about the same time on namesearch here that is being researched. You could then contact about a possible link. How about working forward a bit. Have you got her address at marriage? If it's an unusual name you could write to people in that area with the same surname. You could also write to a local paper with a brief outline and dates and ask for friends or relatives to contact.

Hi thanks for your replies!! No the surname being very popular it is KING sooo its difficult to realise whos related and whos not!! its a brick wall!!
