Yes she is on the 1901 census with all her family, all the family are under the name Ingrey instead of Millard. Matilda's mother Ada was illiterate hence the mistake! But no records of Matilda to be found elsewhere

Is she not with the rest of the family on the census? nell

Can anyone help? My grandad's sister was listed on the 1901 census as Matilda Ingrey (Ingrey was her mother's maiden name) age 7 born Islington. We know she was 1 of 7 children and we know her parents were married in October 1888 (surname being Millard) So Matilda and her brothers and sisters should have been listed as Millard. We cannot find any other traces of her, no birth, no marriage, no death. The other 6 brothers and sisters have been traced. Any ideas???
