It is there, registered as below: Brooks, Doris C.M. Blackmore Camberwell 1d 1319. This is in Q1 of 1923. Sam

I think the small certificate will give enough information to order a full one. Just fill out the form on the gro.gov.uk site. in this case you don't need the GRO reference. Anne

If you've got the small cert you can contact the local register office where the birth was registered with details from that one.

Hello, I am trying to help a friend get started in her family tree and she knows from a small brith certificate she has that her mum was born on 3/1/1923 and registered on 22/1/1923. She was named Doris Constance May Brookes, mothers maiden name was Blackmore. She was born in Constance Rd East Dulwich, London - Guess this was the reason for her middle name! Any help would be appreciated on finding this on 1837 as we want to get a full copy. Thanks Jayne
