Heather....I don't know why the PC kept asking for a disk but your MY PICTURES folder can be found: 1. Click on MY COMPUTER. 2. Click on MY COMPUTER. 3. Click on the C DRIVE. 4. Scroll the list on your screen and you should see the MY PICTURES folder unless someone in the house has deleted the folder. The MY PICTURES folder is one that came with your WINDOWS operating system......a place to store photo's (or not.) Judy :)

Hi Judy, thanks so much for taking the time to explain. I can only assume that eldest son, who was home last weekend must have fiddled with something as he was putting his own photos on the computer from his digital camera. I certainly havent touched them at all. I am a real techno thicki so having fiddled about for ages with the blank scrapbooks I have gone to my family website and copied all the photos which were already transferred to there. Oh this is all such a mystery to me. Anyway, that seems to have worked. I clicked on the photo on the website page and saved as Jpeg then went back to the FT2005 and added them to the scrapbooks again. I tried to find them in "my pictures" but the puter kept asking me to put in a disc???

Do you mean that you put pictures in your Family Tree Maker and now when you try to view them through Family Tree Maker they no longer can be viewed? If that's the case it's probably because after you added pictures to the program, the pictures were then moved, perhaps to another folder or location on your PC? Once a picture is added to a program like Famly Tree Maker you can't move the pictures around on your PC because you are then changing the file path and the program, when you added the photo, "remembers" where to find a particular photo (ie: piccname/desktop/ftm.jpg.) If you move the photo, to say MY DOCUMENTS the program can't find the photo, hence forth the empty scrapbook. Judy

I was just having a quick update on my program and noticed that the scrapbooks are empty - I cant understand why or how. Ive checked my homepage and they are all on there. Anyone know how this could happen please?
