I have just located my 16th Great great grandparent - yes, a full set!! Her name (birth cert) was Mary Ann Lammiman or (marriage cert) Lamiman. This is an unusual name, I wondered if anyone has any suggestions as to the origin - google doesn't help!! Peter Auckland NZ

Hi Peter There's a couple of references to the name in the Surname Origins Database on Ancestry. I've saved the images if you want them to have a read thru! Lou
