Jean, you need to start a new thread for your request, not attach it to someone elses, it wont get seen. Alice, I looked in to help, did you get your info? You are thanking someone who seems to have messaged you personally, or deleted their posts Sam

Alice, Don't know if there is any connection but my grandmothers first husband was Abraham Walker from New Shildon in Co Durham. His father was also Abraham Walker, still living at the date of the marriage - both coal miners. (They were really imaginative with first names back then - which really helps the search - NOT) Emily Taylorson and Abraham Walker were married in 1884. Emily subsequently married by Grandfather Frederick Blake in 1890 when Emily was described as a widow. I can't find any trace of a death for Abraham Walker and the family story was that Abraham wrote to Emily to say that he considered the marriage at an end !!!! Please get in touch if you have any Abraham's in you clan. Cheryl

The parents are Robert Walker born 1869 St. Helens Aukland and Emma born 1872. I think they may have lived in Coronatio Terrace. I wonder if it is still there.... Alice
