Hi there, I wonder if someone would kindly do a lookup on the 1891 census. I'm trying to find Mary Sullivan born in Bishop Aukland, Durham in 1877 (from the age on her marriage cert or 1875 from the age on the 1901 census). So she should be around 14 years old +/- a few years. Her father is Patrick Sullivan and in 1901 they were living in Stockto-on-Tees, Durham. Thank you!!! Jason.

I had a look, but couldn't see a Mary with father Patrick.

Hi Jason No luck with 1891, Nor can I find a Mary Sullivan born Bishops Auckland Durham, on the 1901. When did she marry? Did you find her on 1901 with her father, or married with her husband? Did you get Mary's father's name from her marriage certificate? In which case, he may have diied by the time she married, certs do not always state the father was deceased.. Regards Sam

Thanks for looking. Shes on the 1901 census, living with her 2 daughters and sister in Stockton-On-Tees. Her husband Charles Ward isn't there, but she is down as Married and not a widow and as the Head of the family. Also, they had my grandfather in 1909 and Charles Ward is the father. Yes, Patrick Sullivan is the father named on the marriage certificate. It doesn't say he is deceased. Not sure what to do next! Jason.
