I want to send for my father's army records my mother died in 1951 and I was the only child of that marriage my father remarried in Gibralter and died there in 1999.I have been told that I would need the consent of his wife to get the records as I would not be classed as next of kin, now the problem is that after writting to her a few times I have had no reply dont know if she has moved from that address or she may have died.Where do I go from here.I could really do with some help on this one. Thank you .Maureen |
