I have a family who breed in Camberwell. In the next generation one lot are in St Giles, the other is in St Saviour. Could someone tell me which areas of London these districts cover?...and Fulham? Thanks. Peter

Peter Camberwell is in south London, south of Walworth, west of Peckham, north of Dulwich and east of Kennington/South Lambeth. It used to be in Surrey before the London Boroughs were set up. St Giles is named after St Giles in the Fields, and is part of Bloomsbury . St Giles in the Fields church is still there, close to Tottenham Court Road tube station, and up from Charing Cross Road. St Giles was a notorious rookery (slums with thieves). St Saviour was the original name of Southwark Cathedral and is just on the south side of the Thames at London Bridge. You can find out more about the registration districts here: www.fhsc.org.uk/genuki/REG/lnd.htm#stgi and look for the places/individual London streets on www*streetmap*co*uk, replacing the * with . first Happy hunting nell Fulham
