Thankyou Jeanette, Mary J looks good. I shall explore it. William Elliot was only 42 in 1881 and born in Sunderland so it isn't him. Once again thank you so much. Regards, Jackie |

Can't find Bridget on the 1901 but she would be going on for 100 so would probably have died. Did find this William but don't know if it's the right one William Elliot 73 Dublin, Ireland Boarder Stretford Lancashire Ann Martin 62 Leeds, Yorkshire, England Head Stretford Lancashire Henrietta Martin 29 Manchester, Lancashire, England Daughter Stretford Lancashire Can't find any Carnarnans on the 1901. Listed on the 1881 census aged 80 with daughter Bridget Elliot & son in law William Elliot at 1 George St, Thornaby, York, England. She must have died soon but can't find any death listed. Any help. Also I need a 1901 look up if anyone has spare credits. Can they find any Carnarnans on , the 1901 census ie. John Carnarnan, hairdresser aged 37 in 1901. Also marriages of Mary J Carnarnan b. 1859, Ann b. 1869, Margaret E b. 1873, Ada b. 1876. Any help would be much appreciated. Jackie |
