'of age' ? on marriage certificate?

"Don't be nosy!" It could be anything from a lying 18 yr old to a 98 yr old, but it should mean over 21. |

Hi, I have just received my 3 X great Grandfathers marriage certificate and in the age column it says 'of age'! Does anyone know what this means? Cate:) |
