Hi there. Can anyone please help me find the marriage between Henry Yates and Emma Thompson. I think William was their eldest child and was born in 1861. I think both Henry and Emma were born about 1841. So, it's looking like it will be between 1859 & 1861 and probably in Birmingham but I can find nothing on the usual searches (BMD, IGI and AncestryPlus - unless i missed something). Thanks, Dave.

Hi David Coverage on freebmd and ancestry for the years you are searching isn't complete so it looks like you'll need to get some credits for 1837 online and check the actual indexes Lou

I've found this on Ancestry though it's a fair bit later than you expected. Name: YATES, Henry Record Type: Marriages Quarter: December Year: 1876 District: Birmingham (1837-1924) County: Warwickshire Volume: 6d Page: 74 There is an Emma Thompson on the same page along with two others. Maybe it's yours and they waited until they'd had their kids before getting married!! Kath. x

Think I have found Henry and Emma on the 1871, 1881 and 1891 census. If you haven't already got them I've saved the images. Kath. x
