Hi Geoff Was Stationed in the New Barracks on Burton Road in 23rd Signal Regiment (Did just over 23 years in the Army) Married a Local girl and started life on Boultham Park Road, Then Spa Buildings off Monks Road, then on Carholme Road and then in Cranwell Street. Now live on the Ermine East in quite a nice quiet part LOL Between and before those address's have lived in...Egypt..Cyprus...Singapore...Malaya...Thailand...Germany etc etc. Born in Blackpool though. Walter - in which part of the city do you live? I was born in Scorer St then moved out to Hartsholme in the 50s, but have lived in Glos for nearly 35 years.

There are no refs prior to 1837, because civil registration only began 1st July 1837. Before that you have to look at parish records. nell

Can someone help me....How do I find GRO Refs: prior to 1837....Dont have the full dates just the year and the GRO site wont accept just that, and of course the 1837 site says it all. Thank you "Walter" City of Lincoln
