Hi Does anyone know where someone living in Lenborough/Gawcott, Bucks may have married around 1822 and where baptisms around 1795-1800 might have taken place? Ann in Staffs.

Gawcott has a church of its own, but is near Buckingham, so I would suspect that any marriage or christening would have been registered there. Sorry, just realised this was before civil registration. There should be parish registers for Gawcott for the dates you mention.

Yvonne, Thanks for your reply, but I believe Gawcott church only opened in 1828 and no-one seems to know where marriages etc took place before that incl Bucks FHSociety. Just thought someone on Genes might know! Thanks anyway. Ann
