I have been trying to read a place of birth on the 1891 census, and can't make it out. I am trying to find the 2 children on the 1901, but have had no luck, so maybe a place of birth search will help. The image is RG12/37 Folio 139 Page 18, and it is the top 2 lines, Ada and Charlotte Nixey. FreeBMD lists the registration district for their birth as Fulham. Thanks for any assistance |

Thanks Barbara, that's what it looks like to me too. Problem is, as far as I can tell, there is no such place! (Not in Fulham anyway), unless anyone can tell me differently........ |

It looked like Starch Green to me, so I Googled; it's an electoral ward in Fulham. |

Thanks Geoff, I tried searching the 1901 with Starch Green, but no luck, I still can't find them. Oh well, back to the drawing board. |
