hiya Coming from a big family myself i was also stuck with the problem of storing certs. I have bought A pack of 5 document holders from 'staples' which are see through. I find them excellent. What I also have done is to scan all certs into my computer and anyone who wants one to print off one without damaging/handling original too much Hope this helps Julie |

thanks again for advice. Being from a big family, I know that people will probably want copies, so i expect some handling of certificates is likely and didn't want to have to replace any that i bought. If i do this right i think i need to buy 60+ certificates to get to my 3xgrand parents. (Thats working both sides of mine and hubbys tree.) |

pardon my ignorance but would laminating have any detrimental effect? Eileen |

Joan WHSmith do ordinary ones too - the acid-free ones are marked "acid free" so get the right ones! nell |

Joan There are special wallets you can buy from genealogical suppliers (and they sell them at the FRC and TNA bookshops) but they are pricey. I keep mine in acid-free see-through wallets with hole punches from WHSmiths - they're half-price at the moment. nell |
