I have found the Christening of my g/aunt 1889.......What other info can I get from that?...I already knew her parents names and the church......Am I missing summut? Sorry to be a pian...yet again! Gerri x

No you're not missing owt Gerri! Did you find it in the parish registers? Although you may not have gleaned any further info, you have a definite source - something that is very important to genealogists. Basically it's proof that that ancestor belongs in your tree and you have source inormation to back it up. Jeanette x

The actual entry in the parish register will show the father's occupation and give you their address (though in the country it may simply be the parish). These may also be things you know, or they could prove a revelation. B

thanks you two.......xx I was hoping it would shine a light on her twin....cant find her anywhere!... I have Rose in 1891 with her twin Violet...then only Rose in 1901 aged 12 aaggghhh!!!! back to the drawing board Gerri x

Gerri Have you checked the burials in the parish register from 1889 to 1901? It's a sad thing but she could have possibly died. Jeanette x
