Have just come across a studio photograph of the above. One of the members is my husbands grandfather Joseph Frederick Birch. The photo would have been taken sometime between 1920 and 1930 and shows six young men posing with their instruments - Saxaphone, Trumpet, Violin, Drums, Piano and Banjo - against a fabric backdrop of East Riddlesden Hall in West Yorkshire. If anyone else knows about this Orchestra or any of its members I would be thrilled to hear from them. Yvonne

Not a bad idea Jeanette, it is the sort of thing that local papers might go for........thanks for the suggestion.
