census pages - how do....?

i have found a page that i want to save on my 51 disks but how do i save just the one page and not the whole file which i keep doing? Thanks, Claire |

When you have the image on screen ...you need to press Ctrl & L. This SHOULD enlarge JUST the image on your screen. Press "Print Screen SysRq" (near F12 key) You will think nothing has happened. Press Esc. Shrink all other pages that you have open. Open up Image programme such as Paint. Edit and Paste Save as: JPEG ...give name .. and save to where you can find it (I have a folder on Desktop) Esc. Now look to where you saved the image and you should now be able to attach to an e.mail. Open back up the pages you shrunk. Pat and Claire I spent a whole afternoon the other day trying to figure it out and kept saving the whole piece like Claire. So in the end I asked on the Records board as lots of peeps send images all the time on there. And as you can see, Elaine came to my rescue. I would never have figured that lot out for myself! lol Jeanette x |

Tell me about it Pat! And the cartridges are sooooo expensive. I got one of those refill kits from Morrisons but you can only refill them once or twice. My youngest goes through gallons of ink printing 'pretty pictures' off the computer! lol Jeanette x |
