HI in 1871 my Julia Harris was born in London, England, she was 3. In 1881 she was born in London Hackney, London, Middlesex, England. She was 13 So she was born about 1868 I'm looking for her birth & I have the following options....which one would match. Shoreditch or Whitechapel?? (Please don't say neither !!! LOL) thank you |

Karen, In 1881 she is Julia Sarah Harris. Do the birth records you've found both have the middle name of Sarah? Crista |

Hi Karen, Both are close to Hackney. So could be either. www(.)eolfhs(.)org(.)uk remove brackets, might be of some use. Its a East London website. Maxine |

Just found her in 1891 & she is 23 & born in Hackney London. She is amazingly consistant with her age, so maybe I should take the 1868 birth ??? |

Karen, I see you're using FreeBMD. You should know it's not complete for those years. http://freebmd.rootsweb.*com/progressB.shtml You should look from 1867 Jun qtr to 1867 Dec qtr for her birth on 1837 until you see one for a Julia Sarah Harris. 1868 March qtr is complete. Crista |
