I have a census entry that say Something with a line through that may be Salop and then Colman Green. I have googled Colman Green and can't find the place. It's the 1871 census RG10/2939, Page 20 Ann Nightingale. Please can someome have a look for me. Thanks, Pat.

The only other people on the census who were born in Colman Green come from Hertfordshire, but I agree the image has "Salop".

52 I think. Again indistict but her daughter is Ann fowler on the same household and the age fits with what I know.

If it helps, there's a Coleman (with an E) Green in Hertfordshire, just west of Welwyn Garden City. nell
