If you just want to search the site, put the name in on the search facility towards the bottom of your home page. The name doesn't have to be on your tree. Heather

If you want to put them on the trying to find board you will need to enter a fictional part of your tree with that name. You can delete it again once you have added to the board, but it won't let you add the name if its not already in your tree. Anne

Hi all. Can anyone tell me how you go about finding a cousin who has a surname that isn't in your tree? I would be grateful of any pointers. Thanks in advance, Sarah
