At the moment I've not got any relatives in or from Scotland so haven't needed to use this site. However, I have a 'missing' ancestor and having tried every other possible avenue to locate her, Scotland would appear to my last hope of locating her. I had a quick look at the site last night...am I correct in thinking it's along the same lines as 1837, i.e. I can't see whether she's listed without buying credits first. Thanks Lou

Unlike 1837 though, your credits don't expire. The last for so many days, then you have to buy more, but the ones you had before get added on to your total. (did that make sense? lol)

Thanks for that, Bit reluctant to buy a load of credits when she might not even be there cos the others wont get used. No-one else to look for up there other than her. Ah well...will keep hunting, she has to be somewhere! Lou

Give me the name and I'll look for you as I have credits - it only costs 1 to look at the list - if any seem likely then you could join and download the cert. Anne
