Could someone tell me if the 1841 census for Gloucestershire is indexed as i am looking for a common name Henry Jones and someone has looked in 2 places i thought he might be but as you guessed he was not there. he was born in the county so know it will mean trawling through the index to find him.

Cherry Not as far as I know, but the Bristol records office does have indexes for Bristol & District 1841. nell
