Christa I have had another look on the IGI and it is there as follows: Rebecca Bown Female family Event(s): Birth: 1791 Kuttersbury,Dorcetshire, , , England Christening: Death: Burial: Marriages: Spouse: Peter Toft Family Marriage: 01 DEC 1817 Liverpool, Lancashire, England If you do a search for her name with exact spelling it is there. I don't know how accurate this is as it was submitted by a member of the LDS church. Lyndsay

The surname was Baum according to family records although we have also found it as Boum. Her name was Rebecca Boum.

Thanks for the tip. I've had a look and although I can't see the place at all I've found some great maps of other parts of Dorset so thank you for them! I've written to ask them if they've heard of Kuttersbury. Lyndsay

Does anyone know if this is or was a real place? Or is this a complete error? According to the IGI one of my ancestors was born here in 1791. Can anyone help me? Lyndsay
