Gaynor, this is really difficult isn't it. I imagine you have looked at these Select records to download - (50 maximum) 1. JOSEPH SOLOMON <PALMER> - International Genealogical Index Gender: Male Christening: 26 DEC 1811 Saint James, Poole, Dorset, England 2. Joseph Palmer - International Genealogical Index Gender: Male Birth: 1812 Charlton Marshall,Blandford, , Dorset, England 3. JOSEPH PALMER - International Genealogical Index Gender: Male Birth: 1813 Tolpaddle Or, Tincleton, Dorset, England Did you take your info from the second one? Have you tried to follow this , and the third entry, via the LDS...don't know how to do this but sure someone on GC would tell you. The first entry is from a church register.......from a place not far from Charlton Marshall so might be him. Have you discounted him?....can you track down what happened to this one and so exclude him??? Maybe book a summer holiday to Dorset and go through parish records...not all are on the IGI. Just a few thoughts...quess you've been there before me! Anyway, good hunting! Joan
