Can't find it in any of my lists, but it sound like the were Milling metal smooth for presition jobs, say when two bit of metal had to sit flush to each other. |

My ggrandad and ggrandad occupation was metal planer sometimes spelt plainer, they worked in the iron and steel industry. Anyone know what it was ? Many thanks John |
