Thanks Peter. In a similar vein, I was given a fabulous book as a Christmas present called "Our Hidden Lives: The Everyday Diaries of a Forgotten Britain 1945 - 1948" by Simon Garfield. I know it sounds a bit dry but it's a fabulous read and a real insight into post war life for those that are interested. Louise
