It took 18 months to add 1871, and half my rellies are still missing. I could take a few months out, and keep my money for a bit. I don't find much else of use on there at the mo - I'm passed general registration now. Most of the things I need now are in the north, which seems very bereft of decent sites. The earlier censuses will be great, but if the timescale is anything like 1871, they'll be a long time a'coming. Thanks Helen

They must be busy as they haven't done much updating recently. At least lots and lots on 1871 is on know - can't wait for 1901 Yorkshire and Cumberland - I used to spend a fortune on the government census site. can't wait to get cracking on the extended family (that had to wait for financial reasons as my immediate family cost a bomb to trace). it will be an amazing site when all years are added - have to stump up every year now as I'm addicted - it works out about £1.54 a week (inc tax) - cheaper than a decent magazine - my one luxury! Does any one know what Ancestry are planning to add to their databases in the near future? Anymore censuses? My subscription is up for renewal, and I'm not sure whether to bother. Helen
