Have you tried to google it? Use the quotations and you get 2 interesting reads.

It does sound a bit like when we took someone to court for non-payment of an invoice. The guy just didnt pay, we got a decision in our favour but still he didnt pay. At that point we had to decide what to do and we then made an Oral Examination order, where he had to attend court to explain why he had not paid and give info about his financial situation. If they dont turn up twice then they are arrested. I happily add, he paid up.

Looks more like professional or academic exams, to me, but you'd need something specific to tie it down. Christine

I have found a reference to my ggg grandfather in the Times Newspaper archives. He is under the column "Notice of sittings for Last Examination" , does anyone know what this means. Is it something to do with Bankruptcy? regards, Siobhan
