My Ancestor Thomas Wildes served in the 56th Foot Reg and married Ellen Murphy, can find no records of their marriage c.1850.Their children were born in India whilst he was serving out there. Does the Army keep separate Census records, and keep records of marriages in barracks? As he doesn't appear on any census's!!!! How or where do I find Barrack census's.

You should be able to find him on census returns. I found my GGFX2 in barracks censuses. I could not find a marriage for him before his first child was born and he was shown as single on the census form (in barracks). I have since learnt that men were not allowed to marry up to a certain date and after that they still had to wait to 26 if they signed up at 14 or 30 if 18. If you put in a search for Military Buffs - I had some interesting information from people on here a week or so ago which may interest you.
