I assumed the 1901 census on Ancestry Plus was complete. I have just noticed the counties are listed as, "all available counties", for example Yorkshire is missing. I have a copy of my Great Grandparents 1901 census entry for Thornaby, but I can't find it on Ancestry. It doesn't appear to be complete or am I doing something wrong? |

Brian I believe it isn't complete, but I don't have a sub to Ancestry. I have used the 1901 govt site but find it quite costly and the index is pretty useless. I've found it much easier to use it on microfiche at the FRC. nell |

Thanks Nell & James, no wonder I couldn't find an entry I had seen on the PRO site! Yes, Thornaby near Middlesbrough. I have a copy of the entry, but I just decided to look on Ancestry too. |
