My mom was born in Hackney and baptized a Roman Catholic. I have her baptism certificate but it does not say the church name on it so I assume it was St. John The Baptist. It is signed by the priest though so is there anywhere I can find out where that priest was in 1921. Also I am sure she once told me that she spent a period in a catholic childrens home run by nuns, does anyone know of one in the East End of London.
