I've got an occupation on a birth cert dated 1898, Wales - "doubler in tin works" I looked on the old occupations site and it says: Doubler Operated a machine twisting yarn in cotton/woolen mills. The yarn on different bobbins is combined onto another bobbin I can't see how this fits in with tin? Suggestions please. nell |
