I saw a thread for someone looking for a John Hopwood Kershaw born 1876 . . . . . I thought it was on this board but I can't find it now!!! He went to Canada then returned to Bolton a few years later. Checking the Ellis Island site (I know it's the US and not Canada), there is a John Kershaw, from Manchester (not far from Bolton), arriving through Ellis Island in May 1906 on the Carmania. He was aged 30 and single. Any good? |
