An excellent site for old London maps is http://www.motco(.)com/ There is a searchable 1862 map there. I have had a quick look, but Half Penny Street is not indexed, so it is a matter of scanning each image until you find it Regards Sean |

This is the lost London streets: http://members.aol.*com/WHall95037/london.html This one has early London streetmaps online: http://www.motco.*com/map/ and I suspect this is what Karen was trying to tell you: http://www.gendocs.demon.*co.uk/lon-str.html I didn't have this one before, but will bookmark it forthwith - thanks, Karen! Does anyone know of a internet address of old street maps of London, East End areas of Bethnel Green. Trying to find the rather weird street of Half Penny Street. Thanks Katrina Australia |
