This site is great if you are searching for an event between the years 1866 -1920 as you can search by full name and it brings up exact matches. The years are also complete. Years 1921 - 1983 are only surname searchable and it will bring up the first and last person on the page of the gro index. you have to view the index to then see if what you are looking for is there. Years 1984 to 2004 are complete and are also full name searchable and bring exact matches. Years 1837 to 1866 are coming soon. so if the what you are looking for is between 1866 and 1920 this site is so much better than 1837, but as mention it takes a little bit of getting used to. regards, Siobhan

Sarah - YES!! It goes upto 2002 and has images of the registers just like on 1837. Same format - just takes a bit of 'playing about' to get used to it as it looks a bit different. It can help if you still want to search on 1837 cos it shows the 'quarters' too. i found my own birth when i had a trial run - and have managed to track down a first marriage for a relly in 1920 where we only knew the surname of the spouse :O) Give it a go - the most it will cost u is £6 if u decide u dont like it. Does this site give any more than 1837? Is it worth joining? Sarah

Is it working for anyone? It declined my card (even though Barclaycard have charged it). I've emailed them, and was just wondering if I should buy some more if it's working yet? Chloe
