Help with marriage Scotland 1928-1931?

Thanks Rachel. I found a relatives death record yesterday and that told me he was married ( we thought he was a bachelor!). Checked all the records to 1928 but no luck and as he died 1931 has to be between those dates. The record typically is poor just where her maiden name is!!! Just tried the site again but no luck. Marriages only go to 1928 deaths go to 1953 and births to 1903

Not sure Linda, maybe you could try the GRO in Edinburgh. I think you have to go in person to search. Scotlands people site only have records for after 100 years ago. The GRO website should be able to help. http://www.gro-scotland.gov.uk Hope you find it of some help. Rachel

Used Scotlands people site yesterday with great success but need a marriage 1928-1931 am I right that those records are not available? Where else can I find them? Thanks Linda x
