Member Since: March 2003 Posts: 2,883 Send Message	Thanks Rachel. I found a relatives death record yesterday and that told me he was married ( we thought he was a bachelor!). Checked all the records to 1928 but no luck and as he died 1931 has to be between those dates. The record typically is poor just where her maiden name is!!! Just tried the site again but no luck. Scotlands people site only have records for after 100 years ago. The GRO website should be able to help. http://www.gro-scotland.gov.uk Hope you find it of some help. Rachel
