Got Medal Cards - What Now?

hi jeanette on the medal card you down loaded the end column will have the reg no and on the rim of any medals you have will be a no stamped match the no on the medal with one on the medal cards and you have your ancestor. regards ray

The card that I downloaded gave the name of the parents, but then my rellie had died in 1915 in France. Did your rellie survive? Perhaps they only give personal details for people who have died.

Your next option would be to go to Kew, to see if you can find his service records. Some survived some didn't. If you cannot get to Kew direct yourself, then they do carry out a research service. go to www(.)nationalarchives(.)gov(.)uk - remove brackets.

I have downloaded my medal cards - 3 altogether that suited my search. Fortunately they were all on the same page. There are 3 medal cards for Joseph Brady. How do I know which one is mine? Jeanette x
