Hi, many thanks everyone. I went to the Family Tree mag site and was very impressed with all the on site info they had too so I have subscribed to them. Check out their website http://www(.)family-tree(.)co(.)uk/

They are all good, I am addicted to them and buy them all, but wouldn't want a swap shop as I keep mine for reference. Your Family Tree is probably more comprehensive than Family tree magazine, but it is also more expensive. I like Practical Family history but, as I said, they are all good. Ann Glos

Even stranger, I used to have a Dutch dentist who would inject you then play basketball in the surgery whilst he waited for it to take effect!

do you mean you have your eyes open when in the Dentist Chair how strange !!!!!!!!!!!!

You could ask the dentist to stick it to the ceiling - make a change from his mad "what can you see" magic drawings he has at the moment. I feel more ill trying to focus my eyes on them than through having root treatment.

I know what you mean Heather only trouble is you would get annoyed when it was your turn to be seen as you would want to finish reading them

I wish people would leave them in doctors or dentists surgeries when they are finished with them. I have just about had my fill of Practical Fishing and Caravanners monthly. Trouble is in my town (which is really just a big village) we only have one paper shop so they only have the local one - Norfolk Roots. Anything else has to be ordered.

I wonder if we can start a family Tree Magazine swap shop,as most people only really read them once

Sometimes I buy Family History Monthly, sometimes Practical Family History, sometimes Family Tree (I think they are called), but not every month, and it depends on the articles in them. They are all good imho. :) Joy
