Hi Folks! My FreeCen coordinator Carol is looking for volunteers to transcribe census data for FreeCen. This is what she has: Yorkshire and Durham 1891 on fiche Yorkshire and Durham 1861 on cd Westmorland 1871 on cd So if you would like to see any of these online why not give it a go. It can’t be that difficult if I can do it! lol Carol is a lovely friendly and helpful lady who is always there to answer any queries you might have. And you could always ask on this site for help as I think quite a lot of members have done a bit. In fact I think there may be a help thread somewhere. I’ll see if I can find it. If you would like to read more about the FreeCen project go to http://freecen.rootsweb.*com/ (remove *) If you would like to volunteer, email me through the site and I will give you Carol’s email address.
