Im a techno thickie, but on mine, I go to file make it into a gedcom and then put save. Open save and it says save as - and gives options - click on the CD option and put the disc in - it should save automatically to the disc.

Hello Miriam It only mentions version 3. I have tried to save them as Gedcom but I keep getting a message asking me to insert a disk when it's already in. When I tried on a floppy it's just gobbly-gook. Thanks for replying. Regards Joan

I have had GSP Family Tree V 1.5 on my computer for quite a long time now. (It doesn't say Maker on this version.) I have just bought Family Tree Maker 2005. Does anyone know if this is an earlier version as they are both GSP and if so would I have to uninstall V1.5 first? I have tried to save all my files on to CD without success. Joan
