Hello Don't know whether you've made any use of the Cheshire BMD site? http://www.cheshirebmd.org.uk If you restrict the search to the Stockport area: There are 160 Gaskell weddings between 1837 and 1945 transcribed There are 161 Gaskell births in a similar timespan transcribed. And there are 80 Gaskell deaths transcribed 1837-1950. If you look at the lists you can then further restrict your interest by the sub-district info. Christine |
