Susan What you should get is the date and place of death, the name of the deceased, his/her occupation [earlier certs give occupation of husband if it is a woman that died] age, cause of death and who informed the death with their address and occupation. The cert will also say if there has been an inquest. Later death certs also include birth date and place.
