Different home pages on Ancestry

Peter & Nell We both type the same address in the add bar but still get different page , Strange or what!!!!!!

Brian I guess it depends on which page of Ancestry you chose to save to your Favourites - or do you both type the webaddress in? nell

Brian, In that case my second suggestion, plan B Make a note of the web address at the top of your browser for each of your two log ins and see where they differ.

Brian It sounds as though one of you may be logging in to Ancestry.com, which is the site targetted towards U.S. records, and the other into Ancestry.co.uk, which is our U.K. version You can in theory get to the same records through either site but the search engines and options are different. Another possibility is that your favourites are pointing to different pages on the same site. I generally use a link which takes me straight to the U.K. Census Collection, cos this is what I use most. If you want anything else then you just click on home and take it from there. Peter

My wife & i are both members of ancestry, When she logs on she gets a different home page to me ie Name Where they lived, When i log on i get Name then where born & when born, after you enter this info & click search we both go off in different links & the whole site works differently , Anybody know why? Brian
