Sarah, I though you would like to know I have found them now in the 1881 census under Pollage wondered why they had a servant in 1871, and guess what, William is a Druggist - master Thanks Irene

I also want to add I have found a family on the IGI to William and Emma but I can't confirm this is the right family yet. 1871 will help to confirm before I order the m certificate Irene

Hi I am looking for Herbert Pottage born Beverley 1863, I have found his marriage in Hull 1885, I have found them in 1901, but I can't find him in the 1881 census. On his daughters marriage 1906 he is a Police inspector Leeds. Irene
