Hi Helen and Kath, You need to post as many messages as possible on the web sites, it would be great if your could give their name or their mother's name but be careful how much information you do disclose, as you dont want to cause distress to the families concerned, There are several sites that are aimed at adoptees and their birth parents but the following may help. www.myfolks(.)co.uk or www.scotsconnected(.)com www.lookupuk(.)com www.missing-you(.)net Also see what information you can obtain from the adoption agency some are more helpful than others, and the information they will give can vary from society to society, if they cannot give you much information then ask can you put a letter witth the adoptees file telling them you would welcome contact with them, that way if they view the file at a later date then they will have an adress to reply.Inhaber (wie auf Karte angeben) Good Luck with your search, and if you have any question feel free to -mail me. Best Wishes Sheila
